Charleston Home Sales 4th Quarter 2012

The 2012 4th quarter housing market in Charleston County remains solid with a strong increase in the total number of homes sold. 489 homes with a median price of $225,000 sold last month compared to 346 homes sold at a median price of $227,000 in October 2011.

The overall time on market for closed sales has decreased from 166 days a year ago to just 120 last month.  With home prices remaining steady, demand on the rise and reduced selling times Charleston County provides a great opportunity for both buyer and seller.
